●The Developmental history of CAPA® synthetic paper |
1990 |
Environmentally-friendly material had been being developed rapidly in Europe and Germany that had come to Taiwan in order to market their PP wallpaper, which was produced by using Entex extrusion equipments. Meanwhile, Cengfeng had indicated that our head office should consider developing other materials in addition to the developmental trends of hard PVC within the transformation of the political and economic climate, as well as to save the environment. |
1995 |
In May, Wang Wenyuan, manager of public works division at that time, had firmly believed that Nan Ya Company definitely could produce the PP proof fabric with their own taping machine equipment. Thus, the first plastic division started to conduct research of producing PP proof fabric by utilizing existing equipment. |
1991 |
The first factory of the Newport Hard Cloth officially began the production trial of PP proof fabric with Wang Wenyuan, manager of the public works division at that time, had come into the factory to express his concerns and to provide his expertise and guidance in person. Finally, they had successfully produced through their trials, the roll wrapping PP molding proof fabric, by using the former production equipment of the PVC film product. |
1991 |
In September 9th, we had acquired the new model’s patent certificate, the『Improved taping machine used for fabricating PP film products』from the People’s Republic of China. (Patent number: 090456) |
1992 |
The gelling problems of the former production equipment of PVC film products still had not improved. Therefore, we had dispatched the technician to Germany, Great Britain and Japan to study their front end processing equipment and to conduct the refit of the first set of PP film production machines, so as to carry out trial production and to obtain validation of the stability of our manufacturing process. |
1992 |
In December 24th, we had acquired the『manufacturing method of PP film』invention certificate from the P.R.O.C. (Patent number: 070564) |
1993 |
In September 26th, we acquired the new model’s patent certificate of the 『Improved taping machine used for fabricating PP film products』from the People’s Republic of China. |
1993 |
In December 9th, we acquired the ISO 9001 international certification of our quality management system. |
1994 |
In January 25th, we acquired the patent certificate of the『Method for manufacturing polypropylene films and sheets 』 from America . (Patent number: 5439628) |
1994 |
In July, Liuqing, the founder had predicted that the “Establishment of Liuqing” would have an annual output of 300,000 tons of PP particles in the future. Therefore, he convened with the supervisors of NAN YA to discuss the developmental direction of PP particles jointly. Based on the idea of the founder of ecological environmental protection and socially responsible actions, the synthetic paper started to be researched and developed from this period. |
1994 |
In December 28th, we have acquired the new model patent certificate of the 『Improved taping machine used for fabricating PP film products』from Japan. |
1995 |
In June 9th, we acquired the patent certificate patent of the『Improved device of the multi-functional extending calender』of the P.R.O.C. (Patent number: 120829) |
1995 |
In August 8th, we acquired the patent certificate of 『manufacturing method of synthetic paper and its product』of R.O.C. (Patent number: 160725) |
1995 |
In December 6th, we have acquired the invention certificate of the『 Improved device of the multi-functional extending calander』from Japan. |
1997 |
In June 2nd, we have acquired the patent certificate of the『Calandared film of polypropylene resin 』from America. (Patent number: 5820970) |
